EP5 Series | Slim Appearance High Performance Servo

 

Suzhou Conversion Technology Co., Ltd. presents the EP5 series, featuring a slim appearance and high performance servo system. The new design reduces installation size significantly, with the 400W drive volume decreased by 30% and the 750W drive volume reduced by 40% compared to the previous generation. The improved model algorithm ensures stronger performance, with a 3kHz speed loop response bandwidth and support for up to 25bit encoder.

 

Additional features include online inertia identification, automatic notch, mechanical analysis, gain adaptation, and full closed-loop control for bus series products. The new interface design enhances usability, supporting 5V differential/24V single-ended command pulse input with a maximum input pulse frequency of 4MHz. Customizable 7-way DI/5-way DO functions, spring terminal blocks, and compatibility with 1394 encoder interface provide versatility.

 

The EP5 series offers driver output power ranging from 100W to 15kW, compatible with rotary motors, direct-drive motors, and linear motors. It supports various encoder types, including single-turn/multi-turn absolute value, magnetic encoder, and rotary transformer. Practical functions such as optional dynamic brake, remote firmware upgrade, and communication options like Modbus, CANopen, EtherCAT, and PROFINET are available. The bus series products also offer optional STO function for added safety.
